Food Handler and Manager Certification


  • Who needs food handler certification?

    Most food service employees working with food or drinks must have this certification to meet health requirements.

  • How do I get food manager certification?

    You can sign up for our in-person ServSafe® Manager class or take the course online and complete a proctored exam.

  • How long are certifications valid?

    In Texas, food handler certification is valid for two years, and food manager certification is valid for five years.

TABC Certification


  • Is TABC certification required to serve alcohol?

    Yes, Texas law requires anyone who sells or serves alcohol to have valid TABC certification.

  • Can I get TABC certified online?

    Absolutely. Our TABC course is 100% online and approved statewide.
